When undertaking a significant hydroslides upgrade, Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa wanted to lift the ‘family experience’ bar for New Zealand hydroslides, becoming the first in our country to install an iconic WhiteWater SuperBowl.
Starting from just under 12 metres, riders rocket their way down an enclosed flume in single or double tubes, before emerging into the bowl and experiencing the centrifugal forces as they make several revolutions before being ‘sucked out’ into the shutdown lane.
